DERM Seminar

HSE has established a Diseases Reduction Programme(DRP) as part of the FIT3 (fit for work, fit for life, fit for tomorrow). The aim of DRP is to achieve a significant reduction in the incidence (new cases) of work-related illhealth caused by exposure to hazardous substances.
Work-related dermatitis accounts for a significant proportion of work-related ill health. You as employers, managers and safety professionals are expected to play a key role in preventing work-related dermatitis.
This one-day seminar provides an opportunity so that employers can better manage dermal exposure to chemicals and wet-work. You have a lot to gain by preventing dermatitis.
Failing to control work-related dermatitis has serious consequences, which include:
Enforcement actions for non compliance
Court action
Sickness absences
Loss of productivity
Bad publicity
Treatment of work-related dermatitis takes up
valuable resources of NHS
